Lies about Imane Khelif are Worse Than You Think

Imane Khelif was targeted by TERFs and Trump after immediately and overwhelmingly defeating an Olympic boxing opponent. They implied her victory was because she's a trans woman or a man. She's not.
But most “fair” reporting mentions that Khelif was “disqualified by the IBA in 2023 for not meeting gender requirements.” Many reports also claim “she was disqualified for having XY chromosomes.” That's all bullshit.
What is not mentioned:
- The IBA is so corrupt and mismanaged that the Olympic committee will not work with them. Think of all the horrible organizations the IOC does work with, and imagine how horrible the IBA is.
- The IBA has gone back and forth in their claims of why Khelif was disqualified, and they ended by refusing to say exactly what test she failed.
- IBA test results were provided to the Olympic committee, and the IOC stated the results were too messy to use.
- Because the IBA is in dispute with the Olympic committee, they have reason to increase the doubt and conflict over Khelif boxing.
- The head of the IBA is connected with Putin and may be promoting Russian transphobia.
- The IBA Disqualified Khelif and another boxer after they beat a previously undefeated Russian Boxer. Their disqualification restored her perfect record retroactively.
- If Khelif did have XY chromosomes and female body parts, such as with Swyer Syndrome, there is no evidence she would have a physical advantage over women with XX chromosomes.
- Swyer's Syndrome requires hormone treatment after puberty and would not be a “hidden” condition, as some “nicer” reports imply that she “did not know of her genetic advantage until the test in 2023.”
Other countries are now using the lies about Khelif to challenge the legitimacy of her victories, adding fuel to the misinformation fire.
Khelif is from a country where being trans would put her at physical and legal risk. Will Trump or Musk or the mold-addled author of racist Ursela K. Le Guin rip offs correct themselves, let alone apologize? Doubtful. The least we can do is get all the facts straight rather than repeating the lies of a discredited boxing organization that probably has their own transphobic agenda.
